The Montana National Guard Thrift Shop has been supporting the military community since opening its doors in 1989 through the sale of donated items. Some community projects include beautification projects at Fort Harrison Chapel, establishment of the Montana Medal of Honor park, providing state flags to all deployed units, and placing periodicals at the VA Hosptial.
Our financial support has helped fund such programs as National Guard ChalleNGe scholarships, youth summer camp scholarships, family support, college scholarships, the Montana Military Museum, VA hospital dependent lodging, veterans burial fund, Eastern Montana Veterans Home, Montana Veterans Cemetery, veterans transport van for VA Home and DAV use, and the Kessler Flag restoration project.
The Thrift Shop is located at the National Guard Training Center, Fort Harrison next to the Fort Harrison Chapel. Thrift Shop hours are Thursdays 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Phone 324-3375
