OFFICE: 2ND VICE PRESIDENT
TERM: 1 year (Elected)
DUTIES
- The 2nd Vice-President is the internal information coordinator. Responsible for the completion of all tasks required of all committee chairmen.
- Insures the suspense dates, assigned by the President, to projects of committees are met and that proper reporting procedures are followed.
- Reports to the President potential delinquencies of the committee reports and follows up with the chairman of that committee to correct the delinquencies.
- As a minimum, shall assure that committee reports, typewritten and signed, are prepared quarterly and submitted at the quarterly Executive Board Meetings.
- Insure all committee reports are reviewed for accuracy and that two copies of each report are provided to the Secretary for official documentation.
- Assures that adequate copies of all committee quarterly reports are made available to the Executive Board.
- The President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, and Treasurer will develop an inventory accounting system.
- All official reports/correspondence of the President will be typewritten and signed with two copies provided to the Secretary for the records.
- All quarterly reports of the 2nd Vice-President will be presented in sufficient copies for the Executive Committee, insuring at least one clear copy is given to the Publications Chairman for reproduction and distribution to all the units. All Annual Conference 2nd Vice-President's reports will be presented to the Publications Committee at least 30 days prior to the conference. This will allow ample time for printing and shipping to conference site for inclusion in the registration packets.
GOALS:
The 2nd Vice-President will provide the Executive Board a list of his/her goals for the term no later than the first Executive Board Quarterly Meeting following the Annual Conference.
